Prepare for the chardham yatra by achieving a high level of Physical Fitness. pilgrims are advised to start at atlest a month porior to the yatra at least a 3-4km Morning/Evening walk.


pilgrims journey shall involve trekking across high mountains, facing cond winds. You must carry Woolen clothing, windcheater, raincoat, trekking shoes, woollen socks, body warmers, jacket


Carry a water bottle, dry fruits, roasted grams/channa, toffees, chocolates, ect for use during the journey


Do not travel in the rainy season as there are a lot of landslides during that time.
